We recommend bringing a light jacket since the wedding will be mostly outdoors.

Mexican weddings tend to be an all-night affair. The reception will likely end around 3:00 am.
Please no pictures during the ceremony, but take as many as you’d like during the reception and feel free to tag us when you post them!
Guadalajara is a safe city, but it is always good to be cautious. At night, we recommend taking Ubers to get around and avoiding downtown and the area South of it. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions about safety in a particular area!
Yes! Most US phone plans will work as normal with no additional costs in Mexico. Just make sure "data roaming" is turned on when you arrive. Outlets are the same as those in the US so you do not need any adapters.
We recommend flying into Guadalajara International airport (GDL). When you arrive at the airport, there will be a counter to pre-pay for a taxi to your hotel.
You may see flight options from Volaris and Viva Aerobus -- these are both budget airlines but perfectly fine to take. We have flown on them many times!
If you're planning to extend your trip, there is also an international airport in Puerto Vallarta, a small city on the beach which is about a 3-hour drive or 30-minute flight away.
No, tap water is not safe to drink in Mexico. We recommend buying bottled water from a grocery or convenience store like Oxxo or 7eleven.
